Miami Christian welcomes Chris Cuadra, as the new Varsity Baseball Coach. Coach Cuadra is an MCS graduate from the Class of 2005. While at MCS, Chris was MVP of the baseball team and helped the team enter District Playoffs, win a District Championship, and place as Regional Runners-Up. Upon graduation, he signed an academic and baseball scholarship to Western Nebraska Community College, where he became Team Captain and helped lead his team to win a Regional Championship. After receiving his AA degree, he transferred to St. Thomas University, where the team placed in the Top 20 in the Nation for NAIA. Besides his playing experience, Coach Cuadra has previous coaching experience in the Miami Dade Public School System. We are excited to have him as part of the MCS Victor’s Athletic Program.

Miami Christian welcomes Friedman Sifontes as the new Girls’ Volleyball Coach. He graduated from FIU with a degree in Physical Education, and worked in various coaching positions for the FIU Division 1 Women's Volleyball team. He subsequently worked at St. Thomas University where he was the Head Coach of the Women’s Volleyball Team and led them to a 2nd Place seeding in their division. We are excited to have him as part of the MCS Victor’s Athletic Program.

The Victors are very competitive in their division, taking 8 post-district play championships in the 2010-2011 school year.
