To celebrate Miami Christian School’s 55th birthday, the Miami Dade County Commission renamed NW 109 Avenue, “MCS Victors’ Way.” To view pictures of the ceremony, clink on the link: http://www.miamichristian.org/streetnaming.htm and then scroll through the next few pages of photos of the event. Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz made the official presentation of the street sign. Rep. J.C. Zapatas, and Rep. Anitere Flores sent a delegation with proclamations for the day, and MCS graduate, Rep. David Rivera was also in attendance. A big thank you to La Sin Rival for providing the refreshments and the 55th birthday cake for the day, and to MCS parent, Mrs. Griselle Marino, who was very instrumental in the process of getting the street renamed.
